Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishes and or maintains Section and Unit Policy & Procedures for all Support Services.
  • Manages controls and monitors all DSFH Support Service functions and personnel for each unit and inspects work for conformance in line with Policy and Procedure of Al-Farabi
  • Ensures efficient controls are in place to handle Housing for the new Employee arrival support ensuring alignment with employees Offer/Contract.
  • Promotes and efficient approach for all sections within Support Services by monitoring performances and reporting areas for improvement based on approved Performance Indicators.
  • Liaises with internal and external providers as necessary to obtain the best level of service for Support Service needs.
  • Ensures all aspects of Health & Safety and Fire Safety and Infection Control across the Service, are strictly adhered in cooperation and coordination with Facility Management.
  • Follows predefined purchasing and stock/inventory control procedures.
  • Submits a monthly reports of current occupancy and future demands by liaison with the appropriate sections within HR.
  • Investigates complaints regarding Section’s Services and where necessary, takes corrective action.
  • Conducts weekly meeting with sections Unit Managers.
  • Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure operation that is more efficient.
  • Attends/ensures proper attendance of relevant teams to emergencies/codes/MOH visits/Accreditation survey visits
  • Ensures subordinates have structure and predefined parameters with clear and achievable goals and or targets.
  • Carry out periodical assessment of subordinates utilizing pre-approved Farabi processes.
  • Works with the Chief of Hospitality to set out tangible and realistic KPI’s for the Units as a continual process.
  • Represents Al-Farabi in a positive and professional manner in the community.


    Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field. 5 – 7 years of experience Fluent in English and Arabic
