Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the Fakeeh host Servers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.
  • Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained.
  • Lead the management of vendors and 3rd party suppliers to ensure proper service reception.
  • Develops new system and application implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.
  • Trains technical staff in how to use new software and hardware developed and/or acquired.
  • Develops procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications.
  • Develops and coordinates project directions and schedules to maximize benefits and minimize impacts on the customer organizations.
  • Provides leadership in planning and implementation of projects for servers operations and enterprise systems administration.
  • Manage all the Datacenter implementation and perform necessary configuration. Ensure good data life cycle management including backup, archive and purge. And updated with the recent technology.
  • Managing and utilizing all IT assets including the licensing.
  • Develops new system and application implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.
  • Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations
  • Establishes, maintains and manages user’s accounts. Installs, modifies and maintains systems and utility software on server computer systems.
  • Provides server support related to other software.
  • Answer questions and troubleshoot product issues with focus on problem resolution and related documentation
  • Monitor and manage the progression of users’ cases and assigned tasks through to closure
  • Participate in the team effort to continuously improve work routines, processes and product knowledge in the Customer Care Services department
  • Facilitate a strong working relationship with the Fakeeh Solutions Delivery team
  • Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources
  • Develops procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse
  • Develops tools, procedures, and training sessions for Operations, Client Support and Systems Development staff to assist with work.
  • Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks
  • Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
  • Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
  • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
  • Work closely with the Cyber Security Team to remediate any vulnerabilities and patches identified.
  • Carry out special tasks at Management's direction.
  • Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans.
  • Define and document best practices and support procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Education:

    Bachelors’ degree or higher in Computer Science, or related specialty


    5-7 years of expertise in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting Systems infrastructure servers ( 3 years expertise in managing systems and support teams, 4 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Active Directory, e-mail server administration


  • Good English in ( speaking and writing )
  • Required Licenses: Windows Servers, UNIX, Solaris, Domain environment, e-mail systems, storage, HCI, VMWARE and Backup. (Dell EMC Networker and DD preferable)
