Ensure the highest safety standards are maintained across Fakeeh Care Facilities in compliance with Civil Defense, local and international standards and requirements. Foster a culture of safety awareness among staff, residents, students and visitors.
Supervising personnel within the Safety Unit to ensure alignment with organizational policies and performance expectations
Reviews and updates safety policies, procedures and manuals to ensure compliance with MOI and other relevant regulations, and ensuring overall adherence to government requirements and standards
Recommends and develops new policies and procedures to address safety issues and risks, including emergency procedures and the Emergency Disaster Manual
Conducts regular inspections and audits, documenting findings and following up on recommendations
Investigates and analyzes safety incidents, recommending preventive measures and implementing corrective actions
Ensures facilities adherence to various regulations, codes and standards
Prepares and delivers presentations on safety issues
Submits daily reports on safety concerns to the Facility Director
Executes emergency drills, evaluates findings and develops action plans for improvement
Delivers lectures to promote safety awareness
Trains new staff on safety protocols and procedures
Participates in meetings and committees as required, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Conducts comprehensive risk assessments for all facilities and prepares action plans to minimize risks
Manages safety-related projects to ensure compliance with Civil Defense and accreditation standards in alignment with Facility Director
Conducts budget planning for the Safety Unit and manages staffing needs to ensure adequate resources for safety operations
Qualifications:
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of local regulations, SASO standards, and compliance requirements.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in safety field
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Language:
Proficiency in both Arabic and English for effective communication Licenses / Certifications: NEBOSH and IOSH
