Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine CT -MRI examinations in line with the agreed policies and procedures of the department.
• Assists in carrying out specialized procedures under the supervision of a Senior Staff.
• Be responsible for correct identification of patients and site of study before each examination.
• Be responsible for final reminder of female patients or female companion for the possibility of being pregnant or not.
• Implements and monitors radiation safety measures to ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors in full compliance with
• International and local regulatory requirements.
• CT, remove all radio-opaque materials from patient or table that could interfere with radiographic image. S. In MRI, should remind the patient of any Ferro-magnetic objects that might cause harm or be affected by the magnetic field
• Be Knowledgeable in all sterile, aseptic techniques and equipment and nursing procedure necessary in the area of CT - MRI
• Responsible for knowing all the hospital rules and necessary procedures in handling emergency situations.
• Inspects all equipment under his or her control on a regular daily basis and ensures that the equipment is kept clean
• Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients as "the patient is the center of our care".

• Perform duties as per the code of conduct requirement and ethical standards as outlined in the HCM policies and guidelines.
• Complete mandatory education as per the requirement at least one month prior to expiration.
• Maintain up to date knowledge on information relating to quality and safety, accreditation, policy
• management and document management systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS /QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor Degree of appropriate radiographic/technological diplomas/ Bachelor degree

Experience:

3-5 years’ experience

Language:

Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable

Required Licenses:

SCFHS Registration and MOH License
