Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
  • Prepare detailed BOO as per approved drawings for complete project scope.
  • Submitting regular budget reports
  • Prepare and analyses project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labor and time.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
  • Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
  • Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
  • Advise on a procurement strategy.
  • Control and monitor the procurement process
  • Coordinate with storekeeper to evaluate that the available material stock is sufficient to complete particular activity & report for any deviation
  • Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
  • Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
  • Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments.
  • Verify vendor invoices for work done & for material supply and process invoice accordingly.
  • Prepare list of monthly payments & highlight late payment to vendor
  • Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards.
  • Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work.
  • Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages of the construction
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
  • Work alongside clients to establish their requirements.
  • Undertake feasibility studies to ensure a proposal will work.
  • Perform risk and value management, and cost control, during a project.
  • Make sure clients get value for money on the project
  • Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
  • Working at a client’s business, in an office or on a construction site.
  • Following building regulations and health and safety
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients as “the patient is the center of our care”.

Qualifications:

    Education:

    Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

    Experience:

    5 - 7 years of experience

    Language:

    Excellent & highly proficient in spoken and written English.
