JOB DUTIES STATEMENTS:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides patient care as delineated in granted privileges and in accordance with standards of care and Fakeeh Care policies and protocols.
- Documents provided care in accordance with Fakeeh care policies.
- Provides education and effective communication to patients . This shall be done in collaboration with attending for in- patients.
- Perform or assists in performing medical/surgical procedures as delineated in granted privileges
- Provides patients with requested medical reports in timely manner.
- Attend departmental meeting and scientific activities and contributes in teaching and trainings of juniors
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
- Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
- Represents DSFH in a positive and professional manner in the community
- Develops thorough understanding of DSFH policies and procedures and effectively participates in its execution.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.
- Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients as “the patient is the center of our care”.
- Other Job Functions:
- Perform all duties and tasks in line with the Person Centered Care values.
- Adherence to all policies, plans and programs within the Fakeeh Care.
- Perform duties as per the code of conduct requirement and ethical standards as outlined in the HCM policies and guidelines.
- Complete mandatory education as per the requirement at least one month prior to expiration.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on information relating to quality and safety, accreditation, policy management and document management systems.
Qualifications
- Saudi Specialty Certificate or the equivalent thereof related health science from an accredited institution
- For Consultant: Fellowship within the particular sub-specialty for a period of three years, after completion of the higher qualification, or a Fellowship within a subspecialty for a period of two years, after completion of one year experience in the same specialty, Or training for one year in the subspecialty, in addition to four years experience in the same specialty, Or completion of not less than six years experience within the sub-specialty in a Specialized Unit, in a recognized center, after completion of the higher qualification.
- Saudi Commission for Health Specialty and Ministry of Health Saudi License is required.
