JOB DUTIES STATEMENTS:
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient care within a specific area or clinic and assuming a 24-hour responsibility of the unit.
2. Maintain relations and ensures communication within the unit and to the different team units.
3. Investigates patient complaints and Escalate issues and concerns in a timely manner.
4. Acting as a liaison between patients’ families and healthcare staff.
5. Ensures new employees, students and interns have allocated preceptors and learning opportunities.
6. Measures unit performance against established standards and recommends process improvements.
7. Provides feedback to the CND and involves developing the staff's performance improvement plan for any staff deficiencies.
8. Perform audits and administrative tasks assigned.
9. Manage inventory related to narcotics, medicines, equipment, and supplies.
10. Monitors staff compliance, including new staff with mandatory education requirements, and develops performance improvement plans for deficiencies.
11. Evaluating nurse and medical staff performance. Supervises counsel and provides discipline when necessary.
12. Managing work schedules, attending, arranging, conducting, and coordinating meetings.
13. Identifies the outcome measure that aligns with the strategic goal to demonstrate the improvements. Using innovation and information links quality management activities to business goals.
14. Reviews professional practice periodically in terms of patient safety and competence, and ethical care, recommends and applies necessary changes and updates.
15. Complies with all infection control practices, guides, and monitors staff to comply, promoting a culture of quality patient care and safety improvement and encouraging quality improvement.
16. Supports and promotes autonomy through the organization's governance structure and for shared decision-making and evidence-based practices.
17. Involves clinical nurses in the review, action planning, implementation, execution, and evaluation of any data at the unit level.
18. Uses trended data to acquire necessary resources to support care delivery. Participating in the design and implementation of technology to enhance patient experience and practice.
19. Ensuring their unit meets all policies, plans and programs within Fakeeh Care.
20. Works as a reliever in the absence of the Clinical Nursing Director.
21. Perform duties as per the code of conduct requirement and ethical standards as outlined in the HCM policies and guidelines
22. Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients, as “the patient is the center of our care”.
