Proper identification of the patient and study type.
Preparation of the radioisotope needed for the study with adequate dose considering patient age and weight.
Prepare I.V. line for injectable isotopes.
Ensuring patient compliance with necessary instructions prior or during certain studies (e.g. avoidance of certain food types in I-131 scan and adequate hydration in bone scan
Performing nuclear Medicine imaging.
Performing routine machines calibration and surveys.
Maintaining proper log books of radio-active materials and Tc generators as well as maintaining the radio-active waste room
Maintaining activates of the hot lab and report vacillations to RSO and Chairperson of Department.
Ensuring continuous supply of materials and isotopes, and planning orders for replenishment in a timely manners.
Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients as “the patient is the center of our care”.
JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS :
Education:
Bachelor Degree of appropriate radiographic/technological diploma
Experience:
3-5 years’ experience
Language:
Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable
