Provides support in the planning phase of a proposed project for DSFH.
Participates in the implementation of DSFH projects.
Coordinates with Project Engineer for review of layout of a project and provides feedback on the space and location of any needed medical equipment.
Attends project meetings when needed.
Leads the technical aspects of procurement of medical equipment for the new project. Research the market for new materials to be used for products.
Coordinates and cooperates with third party medical equipment vendors if applicable.
Facilitates timely and accurate communication flow between Biomedical Services Director, Project Engineer, vendors, Supply Chain, and clients.
Leads installation, adjustment, and technical support needs for medical equipment.
Evaluate the safety, efficiency, cost effectiveness of medical equipment.
Trains clinicians and other users of a newly installed medical equipment in the project.
Monitors progress of the project from biomedical perspective.
Develops contingency plan for the new project.
Prepares progress and program reports when needed.
Monitors and evaluates performance of Medical Gas Technician.
To deliver consultation on demand for any subsidiaries and sister companies projects
Responsible for BOQ listing and estimation.
Responsible to set the biomedical systems standards for each project, renovation, expanding, etc.
Teach biomedical engineering or disseminate knowledge about the field through writing or consulting
Design and develop medical diagnostic and clinical instrumentation, equipment, and procedures, using the principles of engineering and bio behavioral sciences.
Conduct research, along with life scientists, chemists, and medical scientists, on the engineering aspects of the biomedical systems
Manage and supervise service of biomedical equipment in subsidiaries and/orin any other location whenever is needed
Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients as “the patient is the center of our care”.
JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS :
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic, Biomedical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
10 years’ full time experience in Biomedical service & Project activities either in a hospital or MEQ service provider company
Language:
Fluency in written & spoken English & Arabic Required Licenses: Professional engineering license from the country of origin with Project Management Professional certification
