Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organizes workflow for timely and reliable team performance.
  • Supervises work schedules to ensure proper and adequate shift coverage at all times.
  • Selects and assigns orientation of new staff and training.
  • Evaluates performance and delegates staff responsibilities.
  • Counsels employees on problem areas related to performance and registration.
  • Works with team members to generate personal development plans, identify areas for growth, and enhance performance.
  • Performs performance appraisals and interviews, and provides feedback and coaching to staff regarding the policies and procedures of admissions.
  • Gives input for and ensures compliance with established organizational objectives, policies, environmental, infectious control, and safety standards.
  • Maintains the ability to leverage technology by optimizing internal resources and improving the quality of information and workflows.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings.
  • Leads departmental meetings and contributes to methods to improve quality of hospital operations.
  • Enhances patient care by implementing admissions functions that interface with the professional and nursing staff.
  • Reviews operational reports to identify opportunities and problems.
  • Promotes and strengthens team-based results.
  • Maintains professional development by participating in professional societies, reviewing professional publications, and attending educational workshops.
  • Supervise inpatient and outpatient admissions and completion of preliminary paperwork.
  • Perform intake screenings on incoming patients and continuing patients as required.
  • Manage the daily staffing schedule, and ensure appropriate distribution of staff assignments and workload.
  • Review department performance by conducting observations, audits and statistical analysis to maximize operational performance.
  • Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients as “the patient is the center of our care”.

    Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or similar field.


    3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration and admissions.


    High level in English & Arabic language Speaking and Reading.
